Jenna started her volleyball career in 3rd grade playing in the
CYC league for Sacred Heart in Valley Park, MO. She continued with the
CYC team through 8th grade. During her last year with the CYC
team she started playing club volleyball for Midwest Select 14s. Her four
years at Rockwood Summit were spent playing volleyball and she was on the
varsity team her sophomore, junior, and senior years. During her time at
Rockwood Summit the volleyball program was young and underdeveloped and
the team went from winning a couple of games a season to having over a
.500 winning percentage her senior year. Jenna received All – Metro
honors following her senior year at Rockwood Summit.
She continued her club volleyball career by playing 15s, 16s, and 17s for
Town and Country volleyball club and was coached by Bob Mayhall. Her
senior year she played for Bob Rott on the St. Louis Metro 18s team.
During her senior year she assisted at the freshman volleyball camp for
Rockwood Summit. She also helped with a 10s skills clinic in her free
time. In the off seasons, she attended many camps including those at Saint
Louis University, Washington University, and Mizzou.
After high school, she played sand and indoor volleyball on intramural
teams at Missouri State during her undergraduate studies. Following
graduation, she continued to play on recreational leagues while pursuing a
master’s degree at Webster University. “Volleyball has always been my
passion and I hope to share my love of the sport with young athletes for
years to come.”
