OBJECTIVE

                  To become an assistant or head coach for the select volleyball club Team Elite St. Louis.

 SKILLS

                  I get along with many different types of people, especially kids. I am open to suggestions on how to teach the kids that would be on my team to better themselves as a player and a person. I am extremely organized with anything and everything I do.

 

EXPERIENCE

St. Louis Volleyball (Brian Williams), St. Louis, MO

Referee, Tournament Director, and Coach, May, 2009- present

                  I ref sand and indoor volleyball.

                  I put together volleyball tournaments for select volleyball teams; I have coaches meetings to explain the rules and regulations of the tournament and the facility the teams are playing at, also I set up play off brackets.

                  Then as a coach I set up practices and drills as well as going to games and informing the parents of what their child needs to do as an individual or a team.

                  This was volunteer for my college volleyball team.

                  As a counselor I went over pre-established drills designated by my coach/the head counselor.

                  The camp was for 5th-10th grade girls.

                  This was volunteer for my high school team.

                  As a counselor I demonstrated and coordinated drills for the campers.

                  The camp was for 3rd- 7th grade girls and boys.

                  I am still in progress of getting my degree in education.

                  Once I become a teacher I would like to become involved with the volleyball program, both boys and girls, at the school I am teaching at.

                  After I get settled in a teaching job, I would like to become either an athletic director or counselor, depending on what opportunity is available.

 

VOLLEYBALL CAREER

                  I have been playing volleyball for 6 years.

                  I started off playing for the 8th grade volleyball team at Windsor Middle School.

                  Played on the Freshmen team at Rockwood Summit High School.

                  Achieved the goal of making Varsity as a sophomore and played on the team for 3 years.

                  I played select volleyball for 4 years for South County Volleyball Club (Angels).

                  Now I am currently playing for St. Louis Community College.

                  I was captain 3 of the 4 years I played for South County Volleyball.

                  And I am currently a captain for my college team.
