Kersten McDonough, 16 Red outside hitter from her Pacific High
School Coach:
"McDonough has taken a huge step forward, Brown said. Some of that can be
credited to the past club season, where
she helped her team reach the USAV
Junior National Championships
in Atlanta during July." |
|
“Playing on her
TESL team in St. Louis definitely has given her confidence,” Brown said. “She’s more of a leader on the
floor. She’s more vocal and I think
going to nationals definitely
helped her. That raises our level of play because it pushes our
team even more.”

Setter Wooldridge O'Fallon IL HS recognized
for stellar play, credits coming to TESL for improvement STL Today
article
Senior setter Ashley
Wooldridge, in addition to a team-high 311 assists, also leads the
Panthers with 101 kills.
Wooldridge said. “It was an adjustment for
me, but club season helped me because I was setting more. With all the
practice I’ve had, I felt like I was prepared. I became a better hitter
and setter all around.”
Wooldridge played club ball for Team Elite
St. Louis (TESL) last
year. “I got to play with different
people and work with different coaches, so it was a totally new learning
experience,” said Wooldridge, who was the only Illinois player on the TESL
squad. |
